I’m back—well, sort of. Just wanted to pop in with a quick update. I’ve been working through some personal things and slowly finding my rhythm again.
The exciting news? A new novel is dropping this year—are you ready for ancient Rome? I’ve also been diving into world-building for a new series that’s been living in the back of my mind for the better part of a year.
As always, I’m a bit all over the place… but hey, that’s just how my creative life works. I’m also noticing a pattern—I don’t update this nearly as much as I should. Goals, right? Toodles.

The end of the year is upon us! I am sure my editor would cringe if she read through my unedited updates. Sorry, Heidi! This year has been absolutely wild. I am juggling two books and I am set to release them both in 2024. Fingers crossed! The Incurables is getting a final book while I am beginning a new journey in Ancient Rome with Lavinia. You can check out some WIP on my social media accounts. I am pumped for the next two years because I have BIG plans and hopefully I have the energy to match those plans. Time will tell. Side note, 2023 cannot end soon enough. Here’s to a better new year (I hope).

Has it really been this long since I’ve updated? Time flies when you’re struggling to finish a book while building your house. Hollow Promises launched and I am both relieved and excited. I am now working on some witchy fun with a twist. I am also launching a subscription based book club service for any and all to join. Check out the Bookish Conundrum on Patreon. It feels like it’s been a lifetime since I’ve updated on here. We bought a 5 acre farm in February and it has sucked the time and life from us (in a good way-is). The property needs a lot of work and we’ve been living in our RV while our house is being built on it. Needless to say, life has been busy. But! Things are finally slowing down and I can get back to what I love doing. The sequel for The Incurables is going to be hitting shelves this fall. I am working with the ever-amazing Julie Lochridge on the cover art again with Savannah (savtheredhead) as my model. I couldn’t be happier! I also have next year’s project on my desk. I’ve been brainstorming ideas on pulling this project altogether. And finally, I have decided to add a blog to my website where I’ll be writing short stories and poetry. I jumped into the creative writing world when I was younger through poetry. I am excited to share some of it and some fun short stories in between book releases. Anyways! Happy reading!

Can this year be going by any quicker? I am about 5 chapters away from finishing the first draft for the upcoming sequel to The Incurables. I am hoping to release a publish date later in the year. Make sure that you sign up for my newsletter so that you don’t miss out on the fun.

We are hopefully finishing up all the hoops to sign on our house. We decided building a house in the middle of a pandemic was a smart move. Plot twist: it’s not. Once that is all done, I can refocus my attention back to the sequel for The Incurables. The Incurables launches this Thursday! The Incurables is just wrapping up. Preorders are on sale now on my website. Do you know what that means? That means that I started the second book of the series! I’m hoping to have this out next year should the universe behave. I’ll keep you all up to date.
The cover art for the Incurables has dropped and it is phenomenal. A big shout out to Julie Johnson Lochridge Art (my amazing photographer and artist) and Sleepy Fox Studios for pulling this all together.
I’ve been using the shutdown time for COVID to take care of smaller tedious things as I await beta reader feedback. I am getting so close to sending it to the editor and beginning The Incurables pre-launch! This is the first edits for the book blurb. This may or may not change depending on my editor but I wanted to give you a sneak peek. Don’t forget to sign up on my email list for updates on launch information and release date.
4-19-2020: Right now I am finishing up edits on The Incurables. Afterwards I’ll begin the second book in the trilogy. I am so excited to share Eveleen’s journey with you all as she struggles to survive the Hollow.

Hi everyone! We are about two months out from the cover photo shoot. I am excited to share my photographers talent and the cover art with you all. I guarantee that it will be nothing less than amazing.
I will be running some pre-order promotions as we get closer. If you pre-order The Incurables you will receive a vinyl washable sticker, bookmark, autographed bookplate, and a sneak peek with the first chapter pdf. There will be more details this summer.
